Audu Maikori named panellist at Oxford Africa Conference 2014

Chocolate City founder and CEO, Audu Maikori, has been announced as one of the panellists to speak at the third edition of the Oxford Africa Conference holding on May 23 and 24, 2014 at the prestigious Oxford University, United Kingdom.

Maikori will join a select panel of top players in the entertainment content creation and delivery industry, and will be speaking about ‘Thinking Digital, Delivering Entertainment’.

This year’s theme is ‘African Transformations’, and the conference will feature discussions in the areas of Innovations in Media and Technology, Governance Trends in Contemporary Africa, and Digital Delivery of Entertainment in Africa.

Other speakers at this year’s conference include Kennedy Bungane, CEO Barclays Bank, Africa; Hakeem Belo-Osagie, Chairman, Etisalat Nigeria and Chocolate City Group; Bobby Collymore, CEO Safaricom; Berhane Demissie MD, Schulze Global Investments; Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director OxFam International and John Githongo, CEO Inuka.

The Oxford Africa Conference is a student-led merger of Oxford University’s two most successful Africa-focused conferences: The Oxford Africa Business Conference and the Oxford University Pan-African Conference.

The Oxford Africa Conference has also signed an exclusive entertainment partnership with the label.
